Description

A very detailed silverplate figural napkin ring by the Toronto Silverplate Company depicting what appear to be a parrot on a branch with the entire ring resting on a base of exotic tree fronds.  Toronto Silverplate Company was founded in 1882, and acquired in 1913 by Wm. A. Rogers but continued producing under the Toronto name until Wm. Rogers was absorbed into Oneida in 1929.  The piece is in good antique condition with some denting / scratching consistent with age and normal use.  Although nearly impossible to make it out completely, the piece is marked on the bottom with the Toronto Silverplate mark and pattern number 1108.  Height from base to top of parrot's head is approximately 3".
