This is a delightful Victorian Silverplate Napkin Ring featuring a Figural "Boy in a Straw Hat" pushing the holder - fashioned after a Kate Greenaway character of the period. Made by the Meriden B. Company - pattern #161 - shown in their catalog of 1886-7 (see photo). Measurements: 2.5" high, 3.5" long, Ring is 1.5" x 1.75".
