haynes flute Low C Sterling

Description

This flute was purchased new in New York City and has remained in the family until this auction. It is being sold “as is” and will need a servicing to play in tip top condition. It is showing minor wear but has no dents or dings. It plays well now and has no visible split pads or rust anywhere.
I am selling it for a dear friend and heard this model used in the ORTF French National Orchestra in the 1980s and 90s. Known for their gorgeous tone and high registers Haynes sterling models like this are a classic flute. Note: low c foot joint.
