Original WWII German Army grey wool embroidered rank pip PATCH/Sleeve badge

Description

An Original WWII German Army, grey wool, embroidered rank PATCH/SLEEVE BADGE, with a white center pip, for a Private/Senior Private in the German Army.
Size: 2 3/8 inches in diameter.
Condition is used - see photos - grey wool surface is uneven (this can be seen in photos - it appears a lighter color in person). A couple very tiny holes on edge of patch. See last photo - tried to hold patch up to light, so that holes could be seen - otherwise, hard to see. Edge of patch is uneven in one area - see second to last photo.
Grey wool feels fragile - clearly an old piece.
Absolutely guaranteed original - has been in family since WWII.
