RARE ANTIQUE AESTHETIC SILVER PLATE ENGRAVED NAPKIN LETTER TOAST HOLDER WILCOX?
This is a rare lovely antique Victorian, 1870's  Aesthetic era triple silver plate napkin, toast or letter holder.
Features a great hand cut out ornate French design on each silverplate metal rim. This was hand made! Twist double loop interior with another section at top that will hold a paper calling card or note.
Brite cut / brite work wild flower with leaves on one side and scattered wild flowers on the other side.
On four cast French design Louis VX feet.
There is definitely wear on the silver plating due to age and I found one dent in the pot. Plating is original w/ light wear in a  spots and a small dip in the middle where the rope twist  is. On the bottom of one spiral, the solder has come loose and it moves (detached). Not an issue as it stays in place. You can have this little spot soldered if you wish.
We polished this a little so it is pretty bright. Could use lots more elbow grease. It has not been polished in years.  We believe this to be by Wilcox, Pairpoint, or silverplate company.
It does have a "P" on the side. Most of the mark is gone.
Measures approx. 4.75" wide x 3.25" high x 2.5" deep.
