Southern Potteries Blue Ridge: Sweet Skyline Teapot "Friendship Plaid" (13752)

Description

Up for auction is a sweet teapot with lid in the skyline shape.  It is painted in the "Friendship Plaid" pattern that features a swaths of brown and green plaid striping.  It stands 5 inches tall to the tip of the spout and is approximately 8 inches across from tip of spout to far edge of handle.  The teapot is not marked but I am sure it is authentic Blue Ridge dinnerware made by Southern Potteries, Inc. in Erwin, Tennessee.   Although the teapot does have a 1/4 inch chip on the underside of the base, there is no other damage.  No cracks or glaze crazing or staining.  Certainly a sweet piece for your collection.
