    Description

    Unique Vintage Devica Portugal Handmade Large Art Pottery Tile Garden Paver Stepping Stone.
    Made in Viana Do Castelo, Portugal.
    The piece has an abstract organic shell type form with a center spiral, repeating forms and textures, and a winding scalloped edge. The recesses of the pattern have a mottled lava glaze from light blue to cobalt to brown.
    There are some small firing irregularities and inclusions, and the perimeter of the base has some kiln marks, as pictured.
    Thick and heavy: 9 1/2 lbs.
    Diameter varies from 11 3/4” to just under 12”.
