Up for auction is a used professional William S. Haynes handmade plateau model flute with C foot joint.  All keys move freely and the pads/key corks are in fair to good condition.  The tubing wall thickness is .014 inches(thin wall) and the serial number is in the upper 29,4xx range, which dates manufacture to approximately 1960.  There are no dents or dings present and the minor surface scratches don't affect playability.  This flute is pitched at A440, has soldered tone holes, an offset G key, pointed key cups and the headjoint/body/keys are all solid silver.  The flute plays great now, but may require a few minor adjustments after shipping.  Included is a somewhat used Haynes wood shell flute case(the case hinge/exterior is worn) and a used zippered case cover.
